Workouts are great if you do it with others. However, due to lack of time many people prefer to do it at home. But their motivation levels gradually come down due to boredom and monotony. When I was on the lookout for good workout videos for me to do at home (with kids at home, I could not go to the gym), I found so many videos on the YouTube that I was flabbergasted. But as I surveyed them, I found most had some common features. So I compiled a set and followed the routine daily. As I did them at home, I found that the trainers are careful to mention the difficulty levels for beginners and for those who have proceeded to advance workouts. And I could also progress to the advanced levels as I did them routinely. One thing worth mentioning here is that the workouts are mainly to increase heart rate and those for the abdomen muscles. However, fitness experts recommend weight training also as a part of the fitness routine.
Here is a list of videos that I compiled from the numerous ones available on the YouTube. These videos, if done in this order, will provide a full body workout. It would take about 45 minutes to an hour to do them.
Recommendations:- Beginners must start at their own level, preferably after consulting a physician.
- The workout must be done wearing a pair of good shoes only.
- Take plenty of water before, during and after workout. For more on this click here.
- It is better to do workout after at least 2 hours of taking a meal.
- Take some kind of food after 30 minutes and before 90 minutes of the workout.
- It is better to take a weekly break from the exercises.
